We understand that our puppies may be priced higher than some breeders in Northern Ireland and Ireland, but they are very much in line with reputable breeders across the UK mainland—in fact, our prices are often lower than those charged in mainland UK. This is because we follow the same rigorous standards of health testing, welfare, and customer support that are expected of Australian Labradoodle breeders in the Europe.
Doing things the right way is expensive, and we refuse to cut corners when it comes to the health and welfare of my dogs. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with additional training in canine fertility, I bring professional expertise and medical knowledge to every stage of our breeding programme. Alongside this, I have completed Level 3 Ofqual regulated qualifications in Dog Breeding, Pregnancy & Whelping, and Puppy Socialisation & Care, ensuring that our practices are always guided by up to date research/CPD and the highest standards of welfare. This investment in expertise means that both our puppies and their mothers (and fathers) receive the very best care from the very beginning.
Every one of our breeding dogs undergoes extensive health testing, including full DNA panels, BVA hip and elbow scoring, and BVA eye screening. Each puppy also receives a full veterinary health check and certificate before joining their forever home. We provide premium nutrition, supplements, and preventative healthcare, and raise our puppies in safe, clean, and nurturing surroundings so that they thrive physically and emotionally.
Just as importantly, we dedicate countless hours to early socialisation and preparation. From their earliest weeks, our puppies are gently introduced to different environments, handling, and experiences including crate training, car exposure, toilet traing to name a few. This helps them develop into confident, resilient, and well rounded family companions. We also pride ourselves on creating an experience for our families built on trust, education, and excitement. Every family has access to learning resources, updates, and guidance through WhatsApp group chats, Google Drive materials, and interactive Zoom calls, so you feel fully supported and involved in your puppy’s journey.
We also want to raise awareness and urge families to exercise caution when choosing an Australian Labradoodle. Sadly, many breeders label their puppies “Labradoodles” when they are in fact first crosses or lack authentic multigenerational lines. Others operate as puppy farmers, cutting corners on health testing and welfare. These puppies may be cheaper, but they often come with significant long term costs to both families and dogs. We are proud to breed genuine multigenerational Australian Labradoodles with proven lineage, supported by transparent health testing and professional care.
Finally, we are proud members of the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA). This membership holds us accountable to strict health, welfare, and ethical breeding standards and reassures families that they are choosing an authentic, responsible breeder.
In short, while there may be cheaper options, our prices reflect the time, knowledge, and resources invested into every puppy, giving you peace of mind that you are welcoming a healthy, happy, and well prepared new family member.

At Northern Ireland Australian Labradoodles, we believe every puppy deserves the right home and every family deserves the right puppy. Matching isn’t about colour or gender alone—it’s about personality, temperament, and making sure both sides complement one another for a lifelong bond.
To achieve this, we work with a qualified trainer who carries out temperament testing at seven weeks old. This helps us understand each puppy as an individual: their confidence, energy, sociability, and resilience—so we can place them in the environment where they’ll thrive. Many of our puppies go on to become therapy and support dogs as well as adored family companions, which is why this step is so important.
We also take time to really get to know our families. Through a detailed application form and a zoom call, we learn about your lifestyle, experience, and expectations. This allows us to create a “family profile” and pair it with the trainer’s assessment of each puppy.
Our success stories speak for themselves—we’ve seen our puppies grow into therapy dogs, adventure partners, and the centre of family life. But none of this happens by chance. It’s the result of a thoughtful, caring process where we work closely with our families to ensure the very best outcome for both puppy and home.
Ultimately, our goal is to give every puppy the best possible start and every family the joy of a perfectly matched companion.

No. All of our puppies are sold with a strict spay/neuter agreement and are placed in loving pet homes only. This means that breeding from one of our puppies (male or female) is not permitted. Both parties sign this contract at the time of sale, and it is legally binding.
As proud members of the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA), we are committed to protecting the integrity of the breed. Sadly, with the rise of puppy farms and irresponsible breeding practices, it is more important than ever that only carefully selected, fully health tested dogs are bred from. By placing this safeguard in our contracts, we ensure that our breeding programme remains ethical, responsible, and focused on the long term welfare of the dogs.
We require that all of our puppies are spayed or neutered by 18 months of age, and we kindly ask families to respect these terms. Failure to do so may result in legal action being taken.

Yes, we can. At Northern Ireland Australian Labradoodles, we work with a trusted veterinary team and have excellent connections with experienced flight nannies to ensure that any puppy travelling internationally does so safely and comfortably.
Exporting a puppy abroad is a detailed process that involves vaccinations, health certifications, and meeting the specific regulations of the destination country. These requirements can vary significantly depending on where the puppy is travelling, and we take great care to make sure every step is followed correctly.
Please note that strict screening applies to international placements. Our priority is always the welfare of the puppy, so we only work with families who meet our standards of care and who are fully prepared for the commitment involved.

Puppies are puppies, and while we do everything possible to give them the very best start, they are still little ones figuring out the world. They will chew, nibble, toilet indoors, and test boundaries—it’s all a natural part of their development. At Northern Ireland Australian Labradoodles, we introduce early training and socialisation to provide a strong foundation, but the real key to raising a well-mannered dog lies in your continued commitment once your puppy comes home.
From 12 weeks of age, we expect all our puppy families to attend training classes. These classes aren’t just about teaching the puppy, but about teaching you, the owner, how to guide and support your puppy’s learning effectively. We recommend only positive reinforcement training, built on patience and consistency, to help your puppy build good habits in a fun and engaging way. Group classes are also an excellent choice, as they provide valuable socialisation and the opportunity to practise in new environments. Puppies love them, and they give you the tools to navigate the normal challenges of puppyhood such as mouthing, teething, jumping up, and kitchen worktop surfing.
With time, consistency, and ongoing training, your puppy will grow into a sociable, fun loving, and well behaved dog. That said, it’s important to understand that Labradoodles are not “lap dogs” who will be satisfied with the same short walk up and down the street every day. They are intelligent, energetic, and full of personality. They thrive when they have the chance to use their brains and enjoy new experiences—whether that’s swimming , running on the beach, climbing mountains, or simply making new doggy friends.
With the right early socialisation, they can live happily alongside cats, horses, and other dogs. Around children, they often form a special bond, becoming both gentle companions and playful friends.
They do require the time and work to develop into the best version of themselves, but the reward is incredible. All of our adult dogs are living proof of this—trained to a high standard and enjoying the luxury of the full, happy lives they deserve.
With your love, patience, and commitment, your puppy will grow into the wonderful companion you’ve always envisioned.

Yes, a multigenerational Australian Labradoodle can be an excellent choice for allergy sufferers. Because they are bred over many generations, their coats are far more consistent and predictable compared to first-generation crosses.
That said, no dog is ever truly 100% hypoallergenic, and individual sensitivities can vary. To give families added peace of mind, we are happy to send out items with our dogs’ scent on them if you would like to test for any allergic reactions before committing. However, we do ask families with allergies to explore every avenue before committing—placing a puppy into a home only to trigger a reaction is the last outcome we would want for you or the puppy.
In general, multigenerational Australian Labradoodles are one of the most reliable options for allergy sufferers, combining minimal shedding with temperaments that make them wonderful companions.

Australian Labradoodles are blessed with thick, luxurious locks that are low shedding and allergy friendly, but they do require regular care to keep them healthy, comfortable, and looking their best. Proper grooming is an essential part of owning a doodle—not just for appearance, but for their wellbeing. Neglecting to brush or maintain the coat can lead to painful matting, which is considered a form of neglect.
We recommend professional grooming every 6–8 weeks, alongside regular brushing at home, following the Australian Labradoodle Grooming Guide provided in your puppy pack. This ensures their coat stays free from tangles and remains manageable as it grows. Grooming is also a wonderful opportunity to bond with your dog, building trust and routine into their care.
For puppies, we suggest starting puppy grooms as soon as vaccinations are complete, continuing every 6–8 weeks until at least 6 months of age. These early, gentle grooms focus on handling, hygiene, and coat care, helping your puppy become familiar with the sights and sounds of the grooming salon. Their first full clip with clippers should not be done until their puppy coat has fully developed, usually around 6 months old. Starting early sets your puppy up for a lifetime of positive grooming experiences and helps ensure that visits to the groomer are stress free.

We all know the many health benefits that owning a dog can bring, but in recent years there has been a growing rise in dogs providing therapy, support, and assistance within schools, workplaces, and homes. These dogs offer a much needed service and can make a life changing difference to the families and individuals who rely on them.
At Northern Ireland Australian Labradoodles, we are proud to have puppies thriving in supportive roles within families. Australian Labradoodles were originally bred as service dogs, and their intelligence, calmness, and intuitive, people pleasing nature set them apart from other breeds. Combined with their allergy friendly coats, these qualities make them especially well suited for therapy and support work, as well as being exceptional family companions.
To support this, every litter is assessed by a qualified trainer who is also a therapy dog trainer and assessor. At 7 weeks old, each puppy undergoes a detailed temperament evaluation to help us identify those best suited to therapy, assistance, or support roles. This process ensures that puppies with the right qualities are carefully matched to the environments where they will thrive.
If you are looking for a puppy with therapy or support potential, please let us know at the time of reservation. This allows us to take your requirements into account and, with the support of our qualified trainer, work with you to identify the puppy that best suits your lifestyle and needs.
We are proud that our puppies are not only wonderful companions, but also have the potential to change lives.

We ask that families plan to collect their puppy at 8 weeks of age, as this is the ideal time for them to leave the litter, begin bonding with their new family, and settle into a consistent routine. Puppies thrive on structure, and moving at the right stage helps them adjust more easily to their forever home.
In some cases, if a family cannot collect on the agreed date, we may be able to keep the puppy for a short period. This is offered on a case-by-case basis and is usually limited to around 2 weeks beyond the collection date, depending on our availability. During this time, your puppy will remain in our care and continue with their daily training, socialisation, and routine.
There is an additional fee of £30 per day for this service. To give your puppy the very best start, we ask families to plan ahead and keep around 2 weeks of annual leave free at the time of collection. The first days and weeks at home are crucial for establishing a routine, building trust, and helping your puppy settle.
Please also remember that for the first few months, puppies should not be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time, as they are still developing confidence, bladder control, and independence.
-
No. At Northern Ireland Australian Labradoodles, we do not place puppies into homes where they would be left alone for more than 20 hours per week. Australian Labradoodles are highly social, intelligent animals who need time, training, and companionship throughout the day to grow into well balanced companions. Long periods of isolation are simply not in their best interests.
If your lifestyle means you are rarely at home, then realistically a dog may not be the right choice for you at this stage.
Puppies are a huge responsibility, and it is my duty to advocate for them and the home and life they will live.
Our priority is always to ensure that each puppy is placed into an environment where they will thrive—supported, loved, and given the attention they deserve.
